Maintenance - Record Locking
Description
Within FastTrack360, records may become locked to a specific user, for example, the user is in Edit mode and closes the browser window before selecting Save. In most cases these records are automatically released, however on occasion they become locked which prevents users from being able to Edit the record. Currently to release these records, a support ticket needs to be raised, which is frustrating where the record needs to be accessed urgently.
An enhancement has been completed in this release to provide Agencies with the ability to release locked records.
Within Recruitment Manager Maintenance, a new item has been created called 'Locked Records'. Within this item, users with permission will be able to find and release locked records.
Benefits
This enhancement removes the need for Agencies to log a Jira request to Support, where records have been locked and need to be released.
Configuration
A new permission item has been created in Security Permissions > Maintenance called 'Locked Records'. Please assign this permission to roles that will require access to this maintenance item.
