Candidate Record - Office Change Validation
Description
Currently where a Candidate Record in Recruitment Manager is linked to a Payee record, it is possible to change the 'Office' of the Candidate to another Country. This change has implications on Payroll and as such an enhancement has been made to provide a validation where changing Office.
From this release forward, where a user tries to change the office of a Candidate with a Payee record, to a Country other than the existing Country, the following validation message will display:
"You cannot change the office code to an office of another country when this candidate already has a payee record. If you wish to proceed with this change, please create a new candidate/payee record for the new country."
Where the Payee works across multiple Countries, a Candidate record must first exist for each Country required, then within the Payroll Module for the relevant Country, the Payee record is created from the existing Candidate record.
Benefits
This enhancement will ensure that the Country of the Candidate and related Payee record(s) remain the same to prevent issues occurring within the Pay process.
