Search Candidate - Search by Comment
Description
An enhancement has been included in this release to allow a user to find candidates based on whether a comment has been added to their candidate record.
To facilitate this, a new Comments tab has been added to the Agency Portal > Recruitment Manager > Candidate > Search screen, as shown below.
The Comments tab features options for searching by standard description, comment details (comment text) and a comment date range.
Leading and trailing wildcard characters (%) can be used in the Comment Details field for partial matching on comment text.
The Search Candidates WITHOUT Comment flag works with the Standard Description criterion, and the dates (there must be no values in Comment Details):
Where the Standard Description items are left blank, and Search Candidates WITHOUT Comment is ticked, the system will find Candidate records without any comments.
Where Standard Description has values and Search Candidates WITHOUT Comment is ticked, the system will find Candidates that don't have any comments with the selected Standard Descriptions assigned.
Benefits
This enhancement provides added granularity to the candidate search functionality. For example, it is now possible to search for Candidate records that have a comment and a corresponding standard description, where the comment was added between a specific date range.
