Improve a user's Custom Field experience by setting the display order of picklist & radio items

A new element has been added to Maintenance > Custom Fields to provide control over sort order of Custom Field picklist and radio items. Where no sort order sequence is applied, by default the picklist / radio items will display in the record alphabetically / numerically. Click here for more details.

Have more control over a user's ability to edit their User Profile.

Automate Job Status to close changed to exclude Permanent Jobs

Now where this feature is configured in Maintenance > General Items 'Close Jobs Where Status Is', the process will only run for Temporary / Contract Jobs and will exclude any Perm Jobs. Click here for more.

Apply new levels of classification using Hierarchy Groups

Classify and apply agreements, rate rules, oncosts and holiday rules based on a customisable grouping, where matching by a combination of agreement hierarchy level and hierarchy value is insufficient.

Report on leave accrual balances directly from the Payroll module.

The Accrued Leave Balance report, which was previously only available in the Leave module, is now also available in the Payroll module. Click here for more details.

Have greater reporting visibility over superannuation transfers.

The existing Superannuation Contributions Report and the Superannuation Accrual reports in the Payroll Australia module have been enhanced so that superannuation transfers, which happen after the end date of the last pay period within a superannuation contribution period, are not missed when reporting on superannuation transactions. Grant payroll staff security permission to perform superannuation transfers without necessarily providing them access to the pay process.

A new agency security role permission has been added for Payroll Australia to allow payroll staff to perform superannuation transfers without having access to pay batches. Click here for more details.

Ensure users who require the ability perform statutory reporting functions have permission to report on payroll data.

A new validation has been added when saving security roles in Agency Portal > Security to ensure that a security role that grants users statutory reporting permissions also grants users payroll reporting permissions. Accrue superannuation on a Greatest Amount basis across multiple jobs during a period without over accruing.

Enhancements have been made to prevent over accrual of superannuation when a payee works multiple jobs in which the payee accrues superannuation on a Greatest Amount contribution basis. Click here for more details.

Suppress the display of leave accrual costs on payslips for specific leave types.

An option has been added to Leave Type maintenance in the Leave module to disable the display of the cost of accrued leave on payees' payslips on a per leave type basis. Click here for more details.
