Bulk Rate Update

Description
Functionality has been added to the Rates and Rules module to allow agreement, standard rates and template rates to be updated in bulk.
Rates can be exported from FastTrack360 to a spreadsheet file based on selected criteria, such as the rate type and the effective date of the rates. The rates can then be updated in the spreadsheet file, which can then be saved and imported into FastTrack360. On importing the updated spreadsheet, the following occurs:
the existing rates, which were exported, are automatically end-dated
new rates are created automatically based on the rate values and effective dates that have been specified in the spreadsheet.
In addition to updating pay and bill rate values, pay rate descriptions and pay rate minimum values can also be updated via the bulk rate update functionality.
The table below explains the type of rates that can be exported, updated and then imported into FastTrack360 via the bulk rate update functionality.

Pay Agreement Rates | Allows updating of agreement pay rates for pay agreements that are configured in the Rates and Rules module. |
Template Pay Agreement Rates | Allows updating of agreement pay rates that have been assigned to job templates in the Recruitment Manager module and have been edited at the template level. |
Job Order Pay Agreement Rates | Allows updating of agreement pay rates for agreement-based job orders where the pay rates have been edited at the job order level. |
Bill Agreement Rates | Allows updating of agreement bill rates for bill agreements that are configured in the Rates and Rules module. |
Template Bill Agreement Rates | Allows updating of agreement bill rates that have been assigned to job templates in the Recruitment Manager module and have been edited at the template level. |
Job Order Bill Agreement Rates | Allows updating of agreement bill rates for agreement-based job orders where the bill rates have been edited at the job order level. |
Standard Rates | Allows updating of standard rates for standard rates-based job orders, where the standard rates are not linked to a job template. |
Template Standard Rates | Allows updating of standard rates that are assigned to job templates in the Recruitment Manager module. |
To allow exporting of existing rates and importing of updated rates into FastTrack360, a new option labelled Bulk Rate Update has been added in Rates and Rules, as highlighted in the example below.
The Bulk Rate Update screen includes the following two tabs:
Export – allows you to specify the criteria for exporting rates, such as the type of rates to be exported, and to invoke the export of rates to a spreadsheet file
Import – allows you to select the type of rates to be imported and to select the updated spreadsheet file that contains the updated rate information so that the rates can be updated within FastTrack360.

Benefits
This enhancement allows many pay and bill rates to be updated simultaneously without the need to manually find, open and edit each agreement, job order or job template.
Configuration
Access to the Rates and Rules > Bulk Rate Update screen, and therefore the ability for a user to bulk export and import rates, is controlled via the following new user security permission that can be assigned to agency user security roles in Portal > Maintenance > Security > Edit Security Role:
