Activities Lists - Default Sort Order Change

Description

Currently, by default, Activities lists in primary records display with the oldest activity first (chronological order) on Create Date Time, so where a user wants to see the most recent activity that needs to be completed, they need to click on the Task Date Time column header to change the order. As most users commonly want to see the most recent activity to be completed first, we have changed the default sort order to the Task Date Time column, to show in reverse chronological (most recent first).

The following Activities lists are impacted by this change:

  • Client Activities List

  • Client Contact Activities List

  • Cost Centre Activities List

  • Job Activities List

  • Candidate Activities List

Benefits

This change provides users with a more logical default order when viewing Activity lists, and removes the need to constantly re-sort to show most recent item first.
