Pay Company Default Settings Enhancements
Description
The Payslip Format field on the Payroll > Maintenance > Pay Company > Pay Company Entry > Default Settings > Default Settings Details Entry screen has been replaced with a Payslip Format Group field in this release. Whereas the Payslip Format field referenced a payslip format only, the new field references a group of document formats that define the templates for a range of pay-related documents, depending on the payroll country.
The Payslip Format Group field is highlighted below.
This change applies to pay company defaults that are applied at the pay company level or pay company/employment type combination level.
Benefits
This enhancement allows a document format group, which defines document formats for a range of pay-related documents, to be defaulted onto new Payee records that are added to a pay company.

Configuration
On upgrading to this release, a pay document format group will be automatically created based on all active payslip formats that existed prior to the upgrade and all existing Pay Company records will automatically be linked to the relevant pay document format group. To link a new or existing set of pay company default settings to a new document format group that defines the document formats that are applicable for that pay company, select the relevant document format group in the Payslip Format Group field on the Pay Company Default Settings, as highlighted in screenshot above. However, ensure that the relevant pay document format group has been created in Maintenance > Document Format Groups first.
