Configuration of Country Name & State Codes

The country names and states that can be selected when filling in the address details of a payee or pay company in FastTrack360 are defined in Maintenance > Hierarchy. These are defaulted when a system is initially implemented but can be customised to suit the requirements of your business. However, for the purposes of reporting to the ATO country and state names must conform to the specific names required by the ATO.

Therefore, to prevent submission errors and rejections, the country name for Australia must be set to Australia and not AU or any other variation. Similarly, Australian state names must be named as follows:

• VIC

• QLD

• SA

• WA

• TAS

• NT

• ACT
