Notifying the ATO of Reporting Commencement (Cloud-hosted Only)

Before you can commence STP reporting you will need to notify the ATO of your intent to use FastTrack360 to meet your STP reporting obligations.

To do this you will need to provide the following information to the ATO:

• the ABN of each pay company that is to commence STP reporting or your Registered Agent ABN, if you are an outsourced payroll service provider who will be reporting on behalf of your clients

• FastTrack's ABN (29 061 703 697)

• the Software Service ID (SSID) of each pay company that is to commence STP reporting. The SSID of a pay company is displayed in the SSID field on the Payroll Australia > Maintenance > Pay Company > Pay Company screen, as highlighted below. There are two ways that you can notify the ATO; via telephone or online via the ATO Access Manager portal.

To notify the ATO via telephone, call 1300 85 22 32 and state that you would like to 'notify the ATO of a hosted SBR software service'. When you call, you will be required to provide proof of ownership of the ABNs for pay companies that are to commence reporting.

To notify the ATO via Access Manager, you will be required to have a myGovID and you must be the principal authority or authorisation administrator in Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM).
