NZ Payroll - Payday Filing Maintenance

Payday filing allows you to send payees' employment details and payment details directly to the IRD from FastTrack360 to meet your obligations for reporting payments you make to payees each payday.

The following configuration must be performed before Payday filing can be used:

• On each pay company that will be reporting via Payday filing the following must be configured:

  • The intermediary IRD number must be added, if your business acts as an intermediary that provides outsourced payroll service to your clients.

  • The Payday filing start date must be specified.

  • FastTrack360 must be granted authorisation to submit information to the IRD on behalf of the pay company

  • An authentication failure email address and SMS number must be specified so that a FastTrack360 user is notified if Payday filing submissions fail due to a reporting authentication problem.

• Security permissions must be configured to allow authorised users to make Payday submissions.
