Enabling Rate Minimum Functionality

Description

A new tab labelled Rate Minimum has been added to the Maintenance > Hierarchy > Country Settings screen, as shown in the example below.

The Rate Minimum tab enables the Rate Minimum functionality for the corresponding country and allows the name of the functionality to be customised.

Benefits

This enhancement allows the rate minimum functionality to be optionally enabled for individual countries that are configured in your system, based on the requirements of your business and each applicable country. For more information about the Rate Minimum functionality, see the following topics:

Configuration

The Rate Minimum functionality is not enabled by default. To enable the functionality for a given country, tick the Enable Rate Minimum field on the Maintenance > Hierarchy > Country Settings > Rate Minimum screen for the relevant country.

On the Maintenance > Hierarchy > Country Settings > Rate Minimum you can also customise the field label that is to appear wherever a Rate Minimum is displayed throughout the system.

If this item is enabled, and values are entered against Rate Rules, then the item is subsequently disabled, the existing values will be hidden throughout the product (Rate Rule and Job's Rate Matrix). If the feature is switched on again, the stored values will display.
