Wage Costs, Estimated Rates, Employee Benefits Sections
Wage Costs Section
The Pay / Bill Wage Costs section incorporates settings for wage cost items including:
WorkCover State
WorkCover Code
Payroll Tax Exempt - this item is ticked where the job is Payroll Tax Exempt
Payroll Tax State
Estimated Rates Section
The Estimated Rates section displays calculations based on the Agreement applied and Job Rate Frequency including the estimated Pay Rate, Margin and Bill Rate for the Job. These estimations are used for forecasting or reporting only.
You should note the following about the estimated rates:
The estimated pay rate that is shown on a job order or job template is the sum of the pay rates of all pay codes that exist in the rates for the job order or job template and have the Include in Job Rate Estimate option ticked in Rates and Rules > Maintenance > Pay Code. The estimated bill rate is based on the sum of the bill rate for all the bill codes that are linked to those pay codes.
When estimated rates are displayed on a job template, some pay and bill oncosts may not be accurately reflected in the estimated pay and bill rates as the exact oncost rate can depend on the final job hierarchy that applies once a job order is actually created from the job template.
Estimated rates do not update after rates are initially assigned to a job order. If, for example, the job rates are edited during the lifecycle of a job or a job order is edited in such a way as to affect the applicable pay or bill oncosts, that is not reflected in the estimated rates.
Employee Benefits Section
Where Employee Benefits have been setup in the Payroll Module, select Edit then navigate to the Pay/Bill Section > Employee Benefits, to view or change the benefits applied to the Job Order.
To change an 'Employee Benefit Type' and any related 'Rules' from the defaults applied, tick the items required and save the changes.
Where a Timecard has been submitted, employee benefits cannot be changed.
