Maintenance > Merge Templates - ability to move a template from one folder to another - V12.10 Patch 1

Description

Currently in Maintenance > Merge Templates, a user is currently unable to move a template from one folder to another. This may be required where the template was created in the wrong a folder, or new sub-folders have been created to provide more specifically labelled folders, and a template needs to moved.

In this release we have added the ability to move a merge template from one folder to another.

in the the folder’s template list, users will now see a new drop down action item for Move.

Where selected, the user will be prompted to select the folder they wish to move the template to. If a sub-folder is required, the user can click on a folder to expand and drill down to find a sub-folder.

If the template is being moved to a different entity (record), a warning will display as any merge tags applied will need to be removed and re-assigned to ensure they work for the new entity.

Benefits

The move action available in Maintenance > Merge Templates provides users with the ability to move a template where they have been incorrectly applied to a folder, or where more granular sub-folders have been created and templates need to be re-assigned.
