Release 12.10 Patch 1 Summary

The V12.10 Patch 1 release will be included with the V12.10 release for clients when they are upgraded from Version 11 to Version 12. The V12.10 Patch 1 release only impacts:

  • V12.10 Beta Clients

  • New Zealand Payroll Clients

  • UK Clients

Time & Attendance > Mobile Timesheets

We’ve made changes to remove the hard coded limit of 4.2mb when attaching items to Mobile Timesheets. This limit is now determined from a setting in Recruitment Manager > Maintenance > General Items - ‘Upload File Size Limit’.

Time & Attendance > Maintenance > Notification Templates

We’ve added new merge tags for 'Cost Centre Code' and ‘Cost Centre Name’ to assign where cost centre information is required to be displayed on timesheet notifications.

Rates & Rules > Pay Agreement > Pay Rate Rule

The hard warning that displays in V12.10 where a user is saving a pay rate rule, and there is a gap between the previous validity period and the new validity period for the same Pay Code, has been changed to a soft warning. This will provide the ability to edit and save a rate rule if required.

Payroll > New Zealand > Pay Process > EFT Pay / EFT Deductions

In V11 (Silverlight) when generating an EFT file, the file creation process defaulted the file extension to “*.*”, a neutral extension, as there is not a consistent file format defined to support upload to all New Zealand banks. In the V12.10 release, the extension on save defaulted to “.csv”, a format that is not accepted by all NZ banks. To fix this issue, an enhancement included in the Patch 1 release provides users with the ability to add an extension at the time of file generation, so the Bank’s supported extension can be applied as required.

Job Template - where a user is attempting to make a job template inactive, if the template is linked to Filled/Closed or Vacant Jobs a new warning message will display so the user can make an informed decision. “The Job Template's rates are linked to jobs where the job's Start Date/End Date intersects with today, and the Job's status is Filled/Vacant or Closed. Click Yes to proceed and make this template unavailable for selection on future jobs (you will still be able to manage the rates from an inactive job template). Click No to cancel.”

Job > Permanent - the Total Package & Base Salary merge tag fields were displaying up to six decimal places. These fields on a Permanent job have been changed so only two decimal places can be entered and will be stored, which will ensure that the merge tags only display two decimal places.

Job Order - On open of a Job user has to scroll down to see filled Candidate Details. In this release we have added the name of the Filled Candidate to the banner of the page (below the Job Type), so this is visible as soon as the job order screen displays. For New Zealand when a user unticks the display of Payee Mailing Address in Country > Other Settings > Display Payee Mailing Address - and a Candidate Address is updated, a warning occurs to say the ‘Payee exists, mailing address is mandatory.’

Where the mailing address is turned off, the system will automatically populate these fields with the main address so the validation will not be triggered.

When creating portal users of Candidate and Client Contact types, the users are forced to go through a pop-up, look-up screen in order to search for Candidates or Client Contacts who do not have a portal user already created. The problem with that popup screen is that it pre-loads the search results with ALL records which is very inefficient where there are large volumes.

On selection of the look up item, the search results will not load by default.  The user will need to enter a search criteria and click search to find the relevant record.

The validation on editing a an existing payees with rolling deduction with a total amount = 0  has been removed. A warning message at the point of saving the deduction: ‘Rolling deduction total amount is zero? Are you sure you want to save the rolling deduction?’

Bulk Email: When sending a Bulk Email (either from Referral Workflow or Search Candidate), if all selected Candidates are opted out of Email communication, no email is generated even when Ignore is selected. Can be opted out either by ‘Opt Out’ being selected or ‘Opt In’ selected with Opt Email unticked.
This only affects Bulk Email. Email’s are generated if sent directly from Candidate record. SMS’s are generated if opted out of SMS communication and Bulk SMS is used.

SMS MFA: Where a user has been setup with SMS for their MFA, and a SMS account has been selected in the users Office Code, the Office SMS account should be used to send the SMS.  However due to a product issue the Office SMS account is not being used, so the SMS account selected in the Country will be used.  The SMS will not send if there is no SMS account selected in Maintenance > Hierarchy > Australia. The error “SMS Messaging is currently unavailable. If this issue persists, please contact your System Administrator” appears on the Authentication screen.

  • the End Time is displaying the next hour, ie 12:30 is displayed as 13:00

A validation message has been added to advise that a Parent cannot be changed as a Job Order exists where the agreement is assigned at the Parent Client level.

A Client Contact must be linked to at least 1 Client. When a Contact is linked to only 1 Client, if you try to remove the link using the Remove option, in either the Client or Contact record, you get a "Contact record is in use" message even if the Contact has never been used. Where this occurs a more informative message will display “The Client/Contact link cannot be removed as this is the only link for this contact. If contact is no longer required, you need to delete the contact.”
