Add a Rate Set for a new date period

Where the existing Standard Rates need to change from a particular date, to add the new rates follow the steps below:

Open the Job Order and navigate to the Rates section.

The current rate set is displayed.

Select Add Rate Set.

The Add Effective Rate screen is displayed.

Select the effective date for the new rate set and select Save.

The 'List Rate Set Dates' and 'View Valid Rates on' fields display the effective date entered.

All items from the previous effective rate period are added to the new effective rate period and are listed by default.

Edit / delete existing rates and / or select Add Item and Follow steps 4 - 6 described in Add Standard Rates to create any additional rates if required.

When the rates have been defined, select Save.

The new Standard Rate set will be available for timesheets from the effective date until the Job's End Date.

The system will apply an end validity date to the previous rate set, so there are no overlaps.
