Create a BPME Parent or Client Specific Rule
To create a BPME Parent specific rule:
1 | Open the BPME tool in the Maintenance module. The BPME Maintenance screen is displayed. | |
2 | Within the Hierarchy panel, click on the Parent level. Existing Parent specific rules are displayed in the Rule List on the right hand panel. | |
3 | Right mouse click on the Parent level and select Add Rule. The Parent Lookup screen is displayed. | |
4 | Apply the entity required by clicking on the Select Entity drop down menu. The selected entity is displayed. At the Parent level Field Rules can be applied to the Job Order records of the Clients owned by the Parent, OR the Client records belonging to the Parent. | |
5 | Enter the Parent record's name in the Search field and select Search. The results are displayed in the Parent List. | |
6 | Select the Parent record required. The Add Rule screen is displayed. The BPME Rule field displays the Parent record selected. | |
7 | To create the rule, follow the steps described in Create a BPME Global rule from step 4 onward. | Â |
8 | To create any filters required, follow the steps described in Manage Filters in BPME Rules. | Â |
Create a BPME Client specific rule
1 | Open the BPME tool in the Maintenance module. The BPME Maintenance screen is displayed. |  |
2 | Within the Hierarchy panel, click on the Client level. Existing Client specific rules are displayed in the Rule List on the right hand panel. |  |
3 | Right mouse click on the Client level and select Add Rule. The Client Lookup screen is displayed. | |
4 | Enter the Client record's name in the Search field and select Search. The results are displayed in the Parent List. | |
5 | Select the Client record required. The Add Rule screen is displayed. The BPME Rule field displays the Client record selected. | |
6 | To create the rule, follow the steps described in Create a BPME Global rule from step 4 onward. Rules created will apply to field items in the Job records owned by the Client. |  |
7 | To create any filters required, follow the steps described in Manage Filters in BPME Rules. Filters created will apply to Job records owned by the Client. |  |
