Questionnaire Section

Settings in the Questionnaire Section of the Global Maintenance Module are used to create and maintain candidate screening questionnaire pages that can be posted onto job boards, or used for registration. Security permissions are required to access this area.

The Questionnaire maintenance settings allow you to:

  • Create and maintain online candidate questionnaires that screen candidates who apply for advertised jobs.

  • Create and maintain Forms utilised for unsolicited Candidate registration, where an Agency requires a process for Candidates to register with the business without having to apply for an advertised job. See Form Maintenance Overview for details on this item.

The Broadbean service posts job advertisements on a web page, based on job orders raised via the Recruitment Manager application. A candidate can apply for an advertised job via the web page and will be presented with an online questionnaire, consisting of one or more pages that elicit information from the candidate.

The specific questionnaire pages presented to the candidate can be dependent on a number of factors, such as the agency office managing the job order, the country in which the managing agency office is located, the job position type and the client who raised the job order. The system generates the relevant questionnaire based on the factors that apply to the job and the questionnaire pages available in the system.

On submitting a questionnaire, the following can occur depending on how the candidate answered the questionnaire:

  • the candidate is automatically rejected

  • the candidate's details are imported into the FastTrack database, a candidate details record is created in Recruitment Manager and the candidate is added to a knockout workflow. Note: Attachments provided by the Candidate ie; resume and other items, are stored with the response record for a period of 30 days, following this they are deleted. On creation / update of the Candidate these items are stored in the Resume section and Attachment section, so they do not need to remain in the response as well.

  • the candidate's details are imported into the FastTrack database, a candidate details record is created in Recruitment Manager and the candidate is added to the referral workflow for the job.

The Questionnaire maintenance settings are used to:

  • create and maintain questionnaire pages as well as the questions and other content that appears on the questionnaire pages

  • create and maintain master pages that apply branding and the required look and feel to the questionnaire pages

  • manage and monitor importing of candidate details into the FastTrack database.

  • create and manage forms that can be assigned to a registration item in Recruitment Manager > Maintenance > Registration.

The Questionnaire Maintenance items are accessed by clicking the left hand panel Maintenance, then scrolling to the Questionnaire Section.

Candidate records are either created or updated depending on the settings configured in General Settings - Candidate Duplicate Check.
