Display of Total Requested Hours on Leave Request

Description

A new field labelled Total Hrs. Requested has been added to the header section of the Leave Request screen to display the total hours of leave that have been requested. Within the Leave Calendar section of the Leave Request screen, which is populated when a leave request initiator clicks the Populate Dates button on the Leave Request screen when adding a new leave request, an Hrs field is now also displayed within each leave day in the Leave Calendar and shows the total number of hours of leave requested for that respective day.

An example of this is highlighted in the example in Figure 1 below. In the example, the candidate has requested 8.00 hours of leave across two days respectively so the Total Hrs. Requested field displays a total of 16.00 hours.

Benefits

This enhancement allows the initiator or approver of a leave request to easily identify the total duration, in hours, of leave that has been requested without having to sum the total hours for each individual day of a leave request.
