Clashing Timesheet Items Error

Description

When a timesheet initiator attempts to submit or approve a timesheet from the Incomplete Timesheets or the Bulk Timesheets lists in Time and Attendance, the system now displays the error message shown in Figure 1 below if there are overlapping attendance and/or absence items on any of the selected timesheets.

When this error occurs, the timesheet initiator must open the offending timesheets and edit them to fix any overlap of items on the timesheets before attempting to submit or approve again.

Benefits

This enhancement compliments changes made in this release that allow leave requests to be submitted and approved after a timesheet has been initiated, by identifying clashes between timesheets items that can occur when the system automatically injects absence items onto a timesheet that has been keyed and saved, thereby preventing double-payment of timesheet items.
