Prompt to Refresh Timesheet on Save or Submit of Initiated Timesheet

Description

When a timesheet initiator attempts to save or submit an initiated timesheet (i.e. a timesheet that has a status of Incomplete or Rejected) that they have opened in the Timesheet Entry screen in Time and Attendance or Mobile Timesheets, the timesheet initiator is now prompted to refresh the timesheet if a leave request, which falls within the timesheet, has been approved by a leave administrator since the timesheet initiator opened the timesheet. Refreshing the timesheet allows leave items for the approved leave request to be automatically injected onto the timesheet so that the leave items can be paid when the timesheet is processed in a pay batch.

An example of the prompt in Time and Attendance is shown in Figure 1 below.

The timesheet initiator will not be able to save or submit the timesheet until they have refreshed the timesheet. Alternatively, the timesheet initiator can close and reopen the timesheet without saving any changes, in which case the leave items will be automatically injected onto the timesheet on reopening. However, any manual changes that the timesheet initiator made to the timesheet prior to closing the timesheet will be lost.

In Time and Attendance, an open timesheet can be refreshed by clicking the Refresh button at the top of the Timesheet Entry screen, as shown in Figure 2 below.

In Mobile Timesheets, an open timesheet can be refreshed by invoking the Refresh action in the web browser, as shown in Figure 3 below.
