Enabling Hierarchy Group Functionality
Description
A new tab labelled Hierarchy Group has been added to the Maintenance > Hierarchy > Country > Middle / Back Office Country Settings > Hierarchy Group section, as highlighted in the example below.
The Hierarchy Group section allows hierarchy group functionality to be enabled for the corresponding country and allows the name of the functionality to be customised.
Benefits
This enhancement allows hierarchy group functionality to be optionally enabled for individual countries that are configured in your system, based on the requirements of your business and each applicable country. For more information about the hierarchy group functionality, see Hierarchy Group Maintenance.
Configuration
Hierarchy group functionality is not enabled by default. To enable the functionality for a given country, tick the Enable Hierarchy Group Function field on the Agency Portal > Portal Maintenance > Country Settings > Hierarchy Group screen for the relevant country.
On the Maintenance > Hierarchy > Country > Middle / Back Office Country Settings > Hierarchy Group section you can also customise the field label that is to appear wherever a hierarchy group field is displayed throughout the system. The label defaults to Hierarchy Group but you can override the label by keying in a different label in the Hierarchy Group Label field.
