Timesheet Import - Support for Candidate Full Name Mapping

Description

In the Timesheet Import process, in the field mapping stage for Candidate Name, the following options are available:

• Candidate Full Name (formatted CandidateSurname CandidateFirstname)

• Candidate Full Name (formatted CandidateFirstname CandidateSurname)

If the Candidate First Name or Surname has a space, for example, Firstname of ‘Mary Anne’ and a Surname of ‘Smith’ a match will not be found as the system will use the 1st space to split the name. So with the above example the logic will determine a Firstname of ‘Mary’ and a second of ‘Anne Smith’.

In this release, the logic has been changed to improve the matching process, so that where a Firstname has a space like ‘Mary Anne' the system will seek to match to the Firstname in the Candidate’s record or where a Surname has a space, the logic will check the full Surname in the Candidate Record.

Improves the efficiency of Timesheet Import and reduces the risk of valid Candidates not being matched during import validations.
