Job Order - Use AI to Source Position / Advertising Description; Increase to Field Sizes

Description

Currently in a Job Order, in edit mode you can add a Job Description and Advertising Description. Where Broadbean has been configured, you can then advertise your role using the Advertising Description text.

In this release we have introduced an AI feature to assist you to generate engaging and eye catching job descriptions. To achieve this the following enhancements have been made:

Job Description

A new ‘Generate’ action is displayed next to the Job Description and can be selected when in Edit mode.

When clicked the system extracts data from the job like Job Title and Skills and pre-populates the AI Job Description generator. The Job Description generator displays in in a pop up window.

Within the pop up, a ‘Generate’ action is selected to generate the Job Description, which displays in the Right Hand panel.

The ‘Sections’ area displays the headings in the description. You can use the ‘What else would you like to add or change?’ item to remove a section if required by entering ‘remove the xxx section’ and selecting the ‘Apply’ action that displays.
In the right hand panel, there are two tabs. One showing the draft and one showing what the text will look like published - this is what is imported back into the FastTrack360 Job.
In the Draft tab you can make changes to the text if required.
The ‘Save’ action is clicked when you are ready to add the text to your job description and it can be changed there as well if necessary.

Advertising Description

A new ‘Generate’ action is displayed next to the Advertising Description and can be selected where the Job Description has field has text in it.
You will be able to select the action where there are some details in the Job Description field.
When selected the ‘Generate Job Advertisement’ pop up displays.

This pop up has different components to the Job Description pop up, as there are more options available in the Left Hand panel. For example, there is an item for ‘Tone’ where you can change the tone of the text if required. There is also an item for Persona if you wish to change this from the default ‘Generic’.
You can also add ‘Additional Text’, for example if you wanted to add in the company name you could enter ‘Company Name: FastTrack360’, and on Generate this will be added to the top of the description.
The ‘Anonymise’ item where ticked will remove any reference to the business.
As above you can edit the text in the Draft Tab and see the final result in the Published Tab.

The ‘Save’ action is clicked when you are ready to add the text to your job description and it can be changed there as well if necessary.
The Job Description and Advertising Description fields have been increased from 3,000 to 10,000 characters to assist where more comprehensive descriptions are required.

In the Published tab of the AI pop up you will see a nicely formatted description with headings and bullet points. Please be aware that when the text is inserted back into FastTrack, this formatting will not display, however we will maintain the Markup code (items like ## which denotes a bold heading). When you advertise to Broadbean, the text will have basic formatting applied (it will look like the ‘Draft’ text in the AI pop-up, so headings will be on a separate line, paragraphing will apply and bullet points will display as rows starting with a '-'.

At the moment you will need to apply some additional formatting in Broadbean to headings to remove the ## and apply bold and larger text if required. We are currently in discussion with Broadbean to see if they have any future plans to accept Markup code, so that bold heading formatting will be automatically applied to save you time.

No additional configuration is required to utlise the Copilot Job Description feature.
