Timesheet ID and Timesheet Period in Header (v12.15p2)

Description

The following enhancements have been made to timesheet headers, in Time and Attendance and in the Mobile Timesheets application:

  • a new field labelled Timesheet ID has been added to expose the system-generated ID that uniquely identifies the timesheet

  • the Start Date and End Date fields have been replaced by a single field labelled Timesheet Period field that displays the date range of the timesheet.

These fields are highlighted in the example below.

Benefits

Because the timesheet ID uniquely identifies a timesheet within the system, exposing the timesheet ID in the timesheet header allows you to identify what the unique ID of a timesheet is. This also compliments the ability to search for timesheets by the timesheet ID.

Consolidating the timesheet start and end date into a single Timesheet Period field reduces the amount of screen real estate that is required to display the key attributes of the timesheet that the workflow participant is working with.
