How to Update an Existing Purchase Order Alert Template
Once an alert template has been created, its attributes can be edited if necessary. However, if the alert template has already been assigned to a purchase order, only the following attributes can be edited:
template name
subject line (if applicable)
message text.
To update an existing alert template, follow the procedure below.
How to Update an Existing Alert Template | |
| Navigate to Billing > Maintenance > Purchase Orders > Alert Templates. The Alert Template Maintenance screen opens. |
2. | In the Search section at the top of the screen, select any search criteria that is relevant to the alert template that you want to edit and click Search. You can search for partial matches on the template name by using leading or trailing wildcard characters (%) in the Template Name field. For example, if you key % template, template names such as PO Balance Alert Template and PO Expiry Alert Template will be matched. If you key template %, template names such as Template 1 and Template 2 will be matched. Existing alert templates that match your search criteria are listed in the Results section of the screen. |
