How to Find an Existing Contribution Rate Rule (UK)

You can search for and list existing contribution rate rule via Payroll > Maintenance > Pension > Contribution Rate Rule Maintenance screen.
Once an existing contribution rate rule is listed on the Pension Contribution Maintenance screen, you can do the following:

  • open the contribution rate rule record to view or edit the attributes of the rule

  • delete the contribution rate rule record if it is not required.  

To find an existing contribution rate rule, follow the procedure below.

  1.  

Navigate to Payroll > Maintenance > Pension > Contribution Rate Rule.

The Contribution Rate Rule search screen is displayed.

If you know the name of the existing contribution rate rule, key in the name in the Name field.

You can use leading and trailing wildcards (%) for partial matching on the name. For example, %Pen will return providers with names such as The People's Pension and NOW: Pensions while The% will return providers with names such as The People's Pension and The BlueSky Pension Scheme.

To search for pension providers according to the type of contribution to which they correspond, select the relevant contribution basis in the Contribution Basis field.

Otherwise, leave the default option of Any selected to search for pension providers regardless of the corresponding deduction type.

Click Search.

A list of contribution rate rules that match your search criteria are listed on the screen.

You can open any contribution rate rule record that is listed after you perform a search for viewing and editing by clicking the view / edit button against the relevant record in the list.
