How to Check the Submission Status of a Payday Return

Once a Payday return has been submitted to the IRD, you will need to wait for a response from the IRD to determine if the return was accepted successfully.

Navigate to Payroll > IR Electronic Reporting > Payday Reporting.

The Payday Reporting screen opens.

In the Search section at the top of the screen, select the pay company name, payment date, pay period start date and end date in the Pay Company, Payment Date, Pay Period Start Date and Pay Period End Date fields respectively.

In the Submission Status field, tick all the available options and click Search.

Payday returns that natch your search criteria are listed in the Results section of the screen.

In the Results section of the screen, locate the relevant return and view the Submission Status column.
