Viewing and Managing Failed Timesheets
Displaying Error Messages for Failed Timesheets
If a timesheet in an interpreter batch fails to process successfully, an error message will be generated and stored. You can view the error message to determine why the timesheet failed to process successfully.
Timesheets that have failed to process successfully are listed in the Interpreted Batch Details screen and show a status of Fail. The error messages associated with a failed timesheet displays next to the timesheet, as shown in the example below.Â
As shown in the example above, the error message generated when the system attempted to process the timesheet, displays in the timesheet row.
The list of timesheets shown in the Interpreted Batch Details screen can be filtered based on the process status of the timesheets. Failed timesheets will be shown if the list is filtered by the All Processed or With Errors status. If the list is filtered by the All-In Progress or Without Errors status, failed timesheets will not be listed.
Re-processing Failed Timesheets
If a timesheet in an interpreter batch fails to process successfully, the timesheet must be removed from the batch so that it can be re-processed as part of another interpreter batch.
Until the failed timesheet is removed from the original interpreter batch, the timesheet remains saved in the interpreter batch queue in a status of Failed. This prevents the Interpreter from attempting to re-process the timesheet until the error that prevented the timesheet from being processed successfully has been fixed. View the error message as described above order to determine the cause of the error.
Remove Failed Timesheets from a Batch
1 | Open the relevant interpreter batch in the Interpreted Batch Details screen. The timesheets processed in the batch are listed on the Interpreted Batch Details screen. | Â |
2 | In the list of timesheets, click the checkbox next to the failed timesheet that you want to remove from the batch. If you want to remove multiple failed timesheets simultaneously, repeat this step for each of the failed timesheets you want remove. A tick appears in the checkbox, as shown in the example below. | Â |
3 | Click Reprocess. A confirmation message appears, prompting you to confirm removal of the timesheet from the batch. | |
4 | Inside the confirmation message, click Yes. The selected timesheet(s) are removed from the batch so that they can be re-processed in the next interpreter batch. | Â |
