Manage Candidate Skills
Specific skills, qualifications, education, licenses, tickets and attributes can be applied to a Candidate record in the 'Skills' section.
Where attributes need to be applied to a skill, this information can also be stored. For example where a Candidate has a Forklift Driver's License, a Grade can be entered and an expiry date.
The following attributes can be applied to an assigned Skill within a Candidate record:

Add skills to a Candidate record
1 | Open the Candidate record and navigate to the Skills section. | |
2 | Select Add. The Add Skills screen displays. |  |
3 | Select the 'Skill Group' and 'Skill Type' required, or enter a 'Skill' key word. | Â |
4 | Select Search. A list of skills and skill information is displayed matching the criteria selected. |  |
5 | Tick the select box next to the skills required and enter in attribute information. Select the 'Verified' tickbox where you have validated the skill is legitimate. Where a skill has an 'Expiry Date' that has passed, or it is 30 days prior to the expiry date 'Check Skill Expiry' message will display at the top of the Candidate record. |  |
6 | Select Save. The skills are displayed in the Skills list. |  |
Edit a skill
1 | Open the Candidate record and navigate to the Skills section. |
2 | Select Edit to edit an individual skill, or select Bulk Edit to edit all skills at the same time. The Edit Skills screen is displayed. |
3 | Make the changes required and select Save. The changes are applied. |
