Set and maintain your Security Question

Where a Security Question has been set, if you select 'Forgot Password' on the login screen, your Security Question displays.  You will be prompted to enter the answer you have set with your Security Question, in order receive a re-set password via email.  Please be aware that your System Administrator may make it mandatory to have a Security Question, in which case you will be prompted to set this item when you next log into the system.

When viewing the Security Answer in non-edit mode, for example in the Maintenance > User screen, for security reasons we don't show actual number of characters - 8 is an arbitrary number of characters displayed. In Edit mode, we show the actual number of characters as they are being entered so the user is aware of what has been entered. When re-setting a password as per the steps below, the Answer field displays with no values.

To set and maintain your Security Question and answer.  The steps below are followed:

Once logged into Recruitment Manager, navigate to the person icon (located at the top of the page), and click on the icon.

The drop down menu displays.

 Select Manage Security Question.

The Manage Security Question screen displays.

3.

Follow the prompts to set or update this item. 

Please be aware that the response is case sensitive, so if you use lowercase and capitals, replication of this will be required if you need to use the security question in the future.



4.

Select Save Changes.

The Security Question and answer is saved.
