FastTrack360 Version 12 Online Help

Navigation

Left hand panel menu

You can seamlessly navigate to all FastTrack360 modules from the Left Hand Panel menu item.

The main left hand panel menu shows the modules you have access to. When you select a module, the menu drills down to the elements that you have access to within the module.

For example, when you click on Recruitment Manager, a sub menu displays showing the elements of this module. The forward arrow > is clicked to show the menu’s sub-elements, the backward arrow < is clicked to navigate back to the previous menu panel.

At the lowest level, when you select an item from the left hand panel menu, the record / feature loads on the right. You can click on items on the left hand panel menu to navigate from an open record / feature to another element of the product if required.

You can collapse the left hand panel menu to provide a wider screen view of your record, by clicking on Collapse Menu at the bottom left of the screen. This will display your menu items as icons.

Hover over the icons to temporarily expand the left hand menu. Click on the pin icon on the bottom left to re-pin the left hand panel menu.

Maintenance Item Location

If you have permission to Maintenance settings for modules within FastTrack360, these settings are found in the left hand menu, nested to the applicable module. For example when you click on Recruitment Manager, in the left hand panel you will see a Maintenance item available at the bottom of the left hand panel menu. The main or top left hand panel menu displayed on login, contains a Maintenance item where settings that apply across more than one area of the product, are available.

Crumb / Navigation bar

A fixed navigation bar is displayed at the top of the main window in Recruitment Manager.  A history of the last three pages viewed is shown; the current page is displayed last.

To return to a previously viewed item, select the record / area within the navigation bar. The example below shows that the user is currently in a Client Record, but was previously in a Job and then the Dashboard.

Navigating to Records Via Hotlinks

Wherever the name or ID of a record is displayed in a list or on another record, it is displayed as a link to allow you to navigate directly to the corresponding record.

The example below shows part of a job order record. Notice that the client name, client number and cost centre are highlighted in blue to indicate that they links to the corresponding Client and Cost Cenrte records respectively.

To open a record via a link you can do any of the following:

  • Click on the link to open the corresponding record in the current browser window

  • Right-click on the link and select Open link in new tab to open the record in a new tab in the same browser window

  • Right-click on the link and select Open in a new window to open the record in a separate browser window.

Open / Close Sections

Within Recruitment Manager, items and sections can be hidden (minimised) to increase the amount of screen space available, or displayed (maximised) when it is necessary to view items in detail.

  • To hide an item, select the up arrow on the right hand side of the object.

  • To display a hidden item, select the down arrow.

Return to the Top of a Record

A black icon with a white up arrow can be selected to quickly return to the top of a primary record in Front Office.

Creating Multiple Sessions

When you log into Recruitment Manager, the application opens in a single browser session, where you can search, create, open, edit and delete records.  Additional browser sessions can be created where you wish to have more than one record open at the same time.

To open a record in an additional browser session:

1

Find the link to the record you wish to open in a new browser session ie; from the Dashboard right click on a Job within the Vacant Jobs list.

A link option menu is displayed.

2

Select Open link in a new tab.

The record is displayed in a new browser session (tab).

Toggle between the sessions via the browser tabs at the top of the screen.

Close a session by selecting the x on the browser screen.
