Search - Status Change to Auto Populate Week Ending From Date

Description

Currently in Interpreter Search, the Status automatically defaults to ‘Not Reviewed’, and the ‘Week Ending From’ date is left blank so that users can see all timesheets to today’s date that have yet to be reviewed.

Where you change the Status to any other item or combination of items, the ‘Week Ending From’ date remains blank. This can be frustrating where you then select ‘Search’ as a warning displays to support the system limiting the results to 12 months. You then have to manually enter in the from date to be no greater than 12 months prior to the to date.

We limit the results to 12 months as the volumes of data that can be sourced where greater than 12 months can greatly impact system performance.

To provide you with a better experience, now where you change the Status from ‘Not Reviewed’ to any other status, we will automatically insert the value of the ‘Week Ending From’ date based on the default value of the ‘Week Ending To’ date less 12 months.

In the example below, the user has changed the status from ‘Not Reviewed’, to add the criterion ‘Reviewed - Pay and Bill’, and the system has injected the Week Ending from date to 12 months prior to the Week Ending end date.

Please be aware that if you manually change the date from the default settings, the Week Ending from date will no longer default.
