Creating and Managing Delegations
Create a delegation
1. | In the menu bar on the left-hand side of the Time and Attendance Maintenance area, click Delegation. |
2. | Click Delegate + |
3. | In From User Type, select the type of user that is currently assigned to the Timesheet Workflows (Agency User or Client Contact). In To User Type select the type of user that will inherit the Timesheets (note: Client Contacts will only ever see a User Type of 'Client Contact'). |
4. | Click Save. |
Edit a delegation item
1 | In the menu bar on the left-hand side of the Time and Attendance Maintenance area, click Delegation. |
2 | Locate the item to be edited using the search criterion if the list is lengthy to save time. |
3 | Click on the Action list next to the delegation. Action items display. |
4 | Click Edit. The Edit a Delegation pop up displays. |
5 | Make the required changes. Note: Once the delegation Start Date has occurred, only the End Date can be edited. |
6 | Click Save. Changes are applied. |
Delete a delegation
1 | In the menu bar on the left-hand side of the Time and Attendance Maintenance area, click Delegation. The Delegation screen opens. |
2 | Locate the item to be edited using the search criterion if the list is lengthy to save time. |
3 | Click on the Action list next to the delegation. Action items display. |
4 | Click Delete. The Delete a Delegation pop up displays. |
5 | Click Delete. The delegation item no longer applies, and timesheets are available again to the Delegate From User. |
