Deduction Rounding

Description

Where a country has rounding of more than 2 decimal places at the Country Hierarchy, this also has been applied to deductions. This means that percentage based deductions are calculated to more than 2 decimal places. This causes rounding discrepancies in reports.

The system will now round gross and net deductions that are not statutory deductions to 2 decimal places. It will round up where the 3rd decimal is 5 or above. For example, if the deduction is determined to be 6.005, the deduction value will be 6.01.

Benefits

Avoids rounding discrepancies between reports, payslips and output files.

Configuration

None.
