Pension Provider - Defining the Output Formats

Description

As different output formats are developed, these will be added to the complement of formats available. Therefore, FastTrack360 needs to know which output format should be used for your provider.

Each pension provider may also have different transfer mechanisms. For example, at the point of this release, NOW: Pensions output format is csv and NEST output format is API (NEST do have other formats such as csv, but API is the option that has been developed). Where output is to be sent to the provider via API, the connectivity details must be maintained by the employer as it will be different for each employer.

All providers require an employer identifier. The Export Code field could be used for such a requirement. However, NEST require a specific format and when submitting data via API, errors need to be avoided.

The following changes have been applied to the Pension Provider configuration screen.

Pension Provider Employer Identifier	The pension provider will have an employer identifier to output onto file formats	This field is mandatory where the Provider dropdown is populated in the Output Management Section Where Provider File Management is Nest, the system will validate for the format EMP followed by 9 digits e.g. EMP123456789. For any other provider, there is no validation for the format.
Output Management (New Sub Section)
Provider	Lists of those providers where output formats are available in FastTrack360.	This is an optional field as an output format may not be available for your pension provider. This is a combo field where you can select the output format that you need to assign to the pension provider. The options are: Nest (API) NOW:Pension (csv)
API (heading) This section will be mandatory if the output is API.
Endpoint URL	This is a url provided by the pension provider to specify where the output should be sent to.	This field is editable any time. Mandatory if Pension Provider - Available Files Action Method = API For NEST, this is https://ws.nestpensions.org.uk
Username	The credentials for connecting with the pension provider	Able to update at any time. The username that you have defined for your login.
Password	The credentials for connecting with the pension provider	Able to update at any time. The password that you have defined for your login.

To be able to enter the credentials and employer identifier to transfer data to the pension provider.

Configuration

The user must have access to Payroll > Maintenance to configure the screens.
