Pension Management - Payee Data Validation Report
Description
Each pension provider has different validations for the personal data that is sent to them. For example, Nest only allow ‘Mr, Mrs, Ms, Miss, Dr' as the salutation. NOW: Pensions allow for a lot more. Nest validate the format of the postcode, but NOW: Pensions do not.
A Stimulsoft report called Pension Reporting - Payee Data Validation UK in the FT Standard Reports/Payroll Reports menu, has been provided to help validate the accuracy of the data that has been set. As Nest has the most stringent validations, the report is based on their validations. However, a copy of the report can be made and you are free to then change the validations to meet your provider’s requirements.
The report will output an entry where the following criteria is met:
Postcode
The postcode entered does not conform to the correct format.
The postcode is missing
Title
The title is not Mr, Miss, Mrs, Ms, Dr or is blank where it cannot be derived.
If the title is blank, the system will populate the pension outputs with Mr if gender is Male and Ms if gender is Female. Where a gender cannot be established, a blank is output.
The report has the following parameters to filter on:
Parameter | Description | Rules |
---|---|---|
Pay Company | To select a particular pay company. | This is defaulted to Any. If you leave as Any, this will output for all pay companies in your environment. If you only have 1 pay company, then you can leave as Any |
