Deleting Finance Integration Batches

An existing Finance Integration batch can be deleted, if for example, the batch was created in error. Deleting a batch rolls the batch back completely, thereby releasing any transactions that were included in the batch so that they can be included in another batch or batches.

The following occurs when you delete a batch:

  • the batch status is set to Deleted

  • all transactions that had been included in the batch are released so that they can be included in a new batch

  • the export files that were generated by the batch are deleted

  • an action is recorded in the audit history of the batch to indicate the date and time the batch was deleted and the user who triggered the regeneration

  • if a notification email address is configured in the Finance Integration General Maintenance settings, a notification is sent to that email address to advise that the batch has been deleted.
