Payee Last Used Date

Description

Previously, the Payee Last Used Date field was populated with a date based on one of the following criteria:

  • The last interpreted timesheet end date or

  • The latest pay period end date in an active pay batch or

  • The payment date of the last pay batch processed, whichever is the latest date.

Where the payment date of the last pay batch processed is after the next pay period because the payee is working a week-in-hand, you were prevented from adding a new payee validity or allowance or deduction until unless it was after the last payment date.

This validation has now been relaxed and the payee last used date will only be populated with:

  • The last interpreted timesheet end date or

  • The latest pay period end date in an active pay batch or closed pay batch

Benefits

This allows users to apply a payee validity or allowance or deduction from the next pay period after the last pay period end date processed.
