Answer Types

Each question on a questionnaire pages has an answer type that determines how a candidate can respond to the question. For example, some questions may require a candidate to type a textual response, type a date or to select an option from a list.
The answer type for a given field is set when adding the field to a questionnaire page. The answer type of a question determines if knockout actions, scoring and branching can be applied to the question.
Within the Questionnaire Maintenance module, the following answer types are available:
text yes/no
numeric date value list
attachment.
Each of these answer types is described in detail below.
