The navigation pane within the Edit Pay Agreement screen allows you to access The navigation pane within the Edit Pay Agreement screen allows you to access the various components of an existing pay or bill agreement respectively. Via the navigation pane you can select and display the following:

  • the agreement header

  • each primary interpretation header belonging to the agreement

  • primary interpretation rules belonging to each primary interpretation header

  • secondary interpretation rules belonging to the agreement.

The navigation pane features a separate section under which each of the above listed components is listed. Each of these sections can be expanded to display and access the associated sub-components. In the example below, the Secondary Interpretation section of the navigation pane has been expanded. Within the Secondary Interpretation section, the Pay Code Rules section has been expanded to display the pay code rules belonging to a pay agreement. Image Removed Note:

When you open an existing agreement in the Edit Pay Agreement screen, the navigation pane defaults to listing only those sets of primary interpretation rules and secondary interpretation rules within the agreement that have a validity period end date that matches or is later than the current date.

Display the Agreement Header

To display the agreement header, follow the procedure below.

In the navigation pane of the Edit Pay Agreement screen, if the Pay Agreements section is not already expanded, click Pay Agreement to expand the section, as shown in the example below.

Under the Pay Agreement/Bill Agreement section within the navigation pane, click Pay Agreement as shown in the example below

In the Edit Pay Agreement screen, if the agreements tab is not already displayed, click on the Agreement Header Tab.

Display a Primary Interpretation Header

To display a primary interpretation header, follow the procedure below.

In the

scroll down to the Primary Interpretation section and click on the arrow to the right.

The Primary Interpretation section expands, listing each set of primary interpretation rules, as shown in the example

Click on the set of primary interpretation rules for which you want to display the primary interpretation header. Note that each set of primary interpretation rules is represented by a validity period (for example: 1/04/2010 25/01/214) or a single date (for example: 26/0 1/2014), in cases where the primary interpretation header does not have a validity end date.

The primary interpretation expands to list the primary interpretation header and the primary interpretation rules, as shown in the example

below.

Click Primary Interpretation Header.
The Primary Interpretation pane is displayed on the right-hand side of the screen,

allowing you to view, edit or delete the primary interpretation header.

The Time Rounding Rule Entry pane opens on the right-hand side of the screen, thereby allowing you to view or edit the time rounding rule.

If the rule you want to display is a midnight boundary rule, skip this step and proceed to step 4.

If the rule you want to display is an unpaid break rule, skip this step and proceed to step 6.

Click Midnight Boundary Rules.
The Midnight Boundary Rules section expands to list the existing midnight boundary rules belonging to the primary interpretation header, as shown in the example below.

In the Midnight Boundary Rules section, click the name of the midnight boundary

To display a secondary interpretation pay/bill code rule, follow the procedure below.

Click the relevant pay code rule type depending on the type of pay code rule you want to display. For example, if you want to view a time rule, click the arrow to the right of the Time Rules section.
