Beta program overview

This beta program aims to assess the readiness of our 12.10/3.1.0 release - this includes the product changes, APIs, upgrade process, and supporting documentation. We offer the new release in a dedicated test environment during the beta program. Clients are expected to complete six to eight weeks of testing before their production environments get updated to the 12.10/3.1.0 release. Clients will continue testing for another three to four weeks in their production environment. Our product team will provide direct support during this time to all beta clients.

Benefits for beta clients

 As a beta participant, we will provide you with all the necessary support, such as giving a detailed overview of these features and a dedicated UAT environment where you can test this new functionality. As a beta participant, you can expect to receive the following benefits:

  • Early access to the latest improvements in the FastTrack application, providing a competitive advantage for your business

  • Additional direct support from the FastTrack Product team that might not otherwise be available

  • Support on feature enhancements and any required implementation services at no cost

  • An ability to be part of improvements to the FastTrack application and ensure they meet your business needs

Timeline for the Beta program  

End of Oct - Mid Nov 2021

Beta program planning and confirming the availability of clients who show an active interest in the program. Marketplace partners will be notified so they can participate in the alpha testing of API 3.1.0 as well.

End of Nov 2021

Availability of UAT test environments (phone numbers and email addresses cleansed) to verify new functionality and regular business processes, including API 3.1.0 changes.

6th December 2021 - 11th February 2022

UAT test period to verify any fixes and regular business processes. UAT testing will continue for six to eight weeks

14th February - 11th March 2022

Upgrade in production, continue testing for three to four weeks

17th March 2022

Commercial release:

  • NZ Customers - First Priority (March 2022)

  • AU Customers - Second Priority (April-June 2022)

Please note that Fasttrack will be away from 23rd Dec to 7th Jan and will be back on10th Jan. If you experience any issues during this time then please raise a case here and we will come back to you when we come back to the office. Please don't call the support team for any issues related to the 12.10 beta program.

Release Scope

The main objective of this release is to replace Silverlight with an HTML user interface for the Middle and Back-Office functions of FastTrack360. Please see online help here for further details.

How to raise an issue during the beta program

If you experience any issues during this testing, please complete an incident report with full details and the steps to reproduce the issues. Please log a JIRA issue via the following link, and attach the incident report form.
