Problem

When creating a Normal Timesheet Pay Batch, a Pay Group doesn’t appear after clicking Find Pay Group.

Solution

A Pay Group won’t appear if there are no Timesheets dated within the open period.  To check which period is open:

  • While in Payroll, click Maintenance 


  • Click Pay Group > Search Pay Groups
  • Double click on the missing Pay Group
  • In the Pay Period Information section, scroll down until you find the Open period

If the open Period is before the Timesheet date, close the period(s) until the one matching the Timesheet is open > Save changes.


If the open Period is after the Timesheet date, an Adjustment Pay Batch will need to be done.
