Missing Pay Group in Pay Batch

Problem

When creating a Normal Timesheet Pay Batch, a Pay Group doesn’t appear after clicking Find Pay Group.

The below steps do not apply for Adjustment Pay Batches

Solution

A Pay Group won’t appear if there are no Timesheets dated within the open period.  To check which period is open:

  1. Go to Payroll > Maintenance > Pay Group
  2. Search Pay Groups and double click on the missing Pay Group
  3. In the Pay Period Information section, scroll down until you find the Open period. If the open Period is:
    1. Before the Timesheet date, close the period(s) until the one matching the Timesheet is open > Save changes.
    2. After the Timesheet date, an Adjustment Pay Batch will need to be done.
