Exceptions occur when a row in the interpreter manual item import file contains erroneous or incomplete data that cannot be used to create a manual item. For example, if a row within the import file references a Timesheet ID that does not exist in the system then it will not be possible to create the corresponding manual item in an interpreted timesheet because there will be no timesheet to which the item can be matched.

Rows that could not be imported due to an exception error are written to an Exception Report, which can be downloaded once the Interpreter Manual Item Import batch has completed processing.
