An entire timesheet that has been interpreted and is in a status of Not Reviewed can be reversed. This is useful if the job order to which the timesheet belongs has been configured incorrectly.
For example, if the wrong pay/bill agreement or standard rates have been assigned to a job order and a timesheet has already been approved and interpreted, that timesheet can be recalled and cleared in Time and Attendance. Once the timesheet is cleared, front office staff can recall the job order, change the agreement or standard rates and re-submit the job order to timesheet without having to create a new job order and without having to adjust the timesheet in Interpreter Results.
The following occurs if you reverse a timesheet:
the status of the timesheet changes from Not Reviewed to Incomplete
the pay and bill interpretation results of the timesheet are deleted
a Reversed event is recorded in the timesheet audit history in Time and Attendance to record the fact that the timesheet was reversed.
Once a timesheet is recalled, the timesheet must undergo its normal timesheet workflow in Time and Attendance before it can be interpreted, paid and billed.
Note:
You cannot reverse a timesheet if an adjustment timesheet has been created to adjust that original timesheet. If an adjustment
timesheet already exists for the original timesheet, you can reverse the adjustment timesheet instead.
