Description

A new maintenance area called Pay/Bill Terms has been added to facilitate the creation and maintenance of pay and bill terms.

Pay terms are is a new concept in this release and have been added to cater for payment of contractors' contractor timesheets according to payment terms. For more information, see Contractor Payment Terms.

On upgrade each set of invoice terms that previously existed under Billing > Maintenance > Invoice Terms are copied moved to Maintenance > Pay/Bill Terms and are assigned a terms type of Bill. For more information about how those existing terms can be maintained and how new pay and bill terms can be created, see Terms Maintenance.

On upgrade any existing security roles that have been granted the Billing > System Maintenance permission will be automatically granted the full permission level for the new Maintenance > Pay/Bill Payment Terms permission. This can be changed to suit the security needs of your business, if required.
