Benefits
This enhancement allows pay and bill agreements, as well as pay rate rules and bill rate rules that are associated with a pay or bill agreement respectively, to be matched to a hierarchy group. This provides the flexibility of matching and applying agreements and agreement rates based on a combination of hierarchy level, hierarchy value and customisable hierarchy group.
An agreement and rate rules belonging to an agreement can only be assigned to a hierarchy group if the agreement is assigned to a country for which hierarchy group functionality is enabled in Maintenance > Hierarchy > Country Settings Maintenance.
The field label of the Hierarchy Group field on agreement headers and rate rules can also be customised in Country Settings Maintenance to suit your organisation's requirements. For more information, see Enabling Hierarchy Group Functionality.
Note also that the Hierarchy Group field on an agreement header is locked if the agreement has been used. If a hierarchy group needs to be applied to an existing agreement that has already been used, create a copy of the existing agreement and apply the hierarchy group to the copied agreement.
