To define a holiday condition when creating a holiday rule, follow the procedure below.
1. | In the Holiday Condition Type field within the Holiday Rule Entry screen, select the holiday condition that will apply to the holiday rule. Fields within the Holiday Condition grouping are enabled and disabled depending on the condition type you selected. | |
2. | If you selected Specific Date in the Holiday Type Condition field, type the year within which the specific date occurs in the Year field |
. For example, if the specific date occurs during the year 2011, type 2011 in the Year field. Skip this step if you selected a holiday condition type other than Specific Date. | ||
3. | In the Month field, select the month of the year during which the holiday is to occur. | |
4. | If you selected Specific Date in the Holiday Type Condition field, in the Day Number field, select the number of the day of the month on which the holiday occurs. For example, select 20 if the holiday occurs on the 20th day of the selected month. Skip this step if you selected a holiday condition type other than Specific Date. | |
5. | In the Day in Week field, select the day of the week on which the holiday occurs. Skip this step if you selected Specific Date in the Holiday Type Condition field. | |
6. | If you selected Day in the Week of Month in the Holiday Type Condition field, in the Week Number field, select the number of the week within the selected month during which the holiday is to occur. For example, select 2 if the holiday is to occur on the second week of the selected month. Skip this step if you selected a holiday type condition other than Day in the Week of Month. |
