Check if Outlook Extensions is Installed
Even if the Add-ins menu isn’t showing in Outlook, it’s still possible Outlook Extensions is installed on the computer.
1.Open Add or Remove Programs

How to do this will depend on the version of Windows you are using. For most versions you can open it by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard, then start typing Add or Remove Programs. If you are unsure, check with your IT Team. |
2.Check to see Outlook Extensions is installed
- Scroll down the list of programs until you find FastTrack Outlook Extensions - if it's not listed go to Install Outlook Extensions 2.0
- Click on FastTrack Outlook Extensions and check the version number:
- 1.00.0000 is an older version that needs to be uninstalled – go to Uninstall Outlook Extensions
- 2.00.0000 Outlook Extensions 2.0 is already installed. Close Add or Remove Programs and complete the Add-in Setup in Outlook

Uninstall Outlook Extensions- Close Outlook
- In Add or Remove Programs, click Uninstall – accept any confirmation messages to uninstall
- Click Yes to “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device”
- Once the uninstall has completed close Add or Remove Programs

We recommend Outlook Extensions 2.0 is installed before opening Outlook again otherwise a "Installing Office Customization" error may appear. If the error does appear click Close. |
Install Outlook Extensions 2.0The only difference will be the Settings as you would need to add these if Outlook Extensions wasn't used before.
1.Close Outlook if it's not already
2.Download the Outlook Extensions 2.0 installation file - need to update once confirmed how we are distributing it
3.Install the file
- On your computer, go to the folder the Installation file was downloaded to - this will generally be the Downloads folder
- Double click on the FastTrack Outlook Add-ins file – an InstallShield Wizard will appear

- Click Next
- Click Install
- Click Yes to “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device”
- Click Finish
4.Add-In Setup- Open Outlook
- Click Add-ins menu – if Add-ins menu doesn’t show refer to Load behaviour of Outlook Extensions

- Once all details have been checked, click Submit – if General Settings details are valid a ‘Settings saved successfully’ message will appear. If a different message appears go to Common Submit Errors

General Settings
If Outlook Extensions was previously setup, these details will already be populated. We recommend you check the details are correct. If there are no details, enter your FastTrack360:
- URL - to ensure the correct URL is entered we recommend you copy the URL from your FastTrack360 login page
- Login details - if you change your FastTrack360 password, you will need to update the Password here

Once you’ve successfully submitted the Add-in Settings and you've confirmed you have the relevant permission click on Settings to see this tab.
