All attributes in the Contribution Rate Rule Header section can be edited at any time. The contribution rate rule itself within a validity period can only be edited if it has not been used in a pay batch or assigned to a pension scheme.
To edit an existing contribution rate rule, follow the procedure below.
1. | If the relevant contribution rate rule record is not already open, search for and open the relevant record. | |
2. | Click the edit button in the pension scheme validity List. | |
3. | If the contribution rate rule has not been used in a pay batch process, all the fields are available for edit. Update the required fields. | |
4. | If the contribution rate rule has been used in a pay batch, a validity end date should be entered that is equal to or after the last used date. Then a new validity date should be added and the new details added. | |
5. | Click Save. The contribution rate rule is saved. |
